interesting?
Re:interesting?
I've noticed that too. I have seen more smoke at 1x5 than 5x5. I thought it had something to do with how fast the truck is building boost at 5x5. The needle whips around in 5x5 building boost, which if I understand helps burn the extra fuel quicker meaning less smoke??

I assume you didn't mess up levels and sublevels ;D
Do you run higher than 30psi with the box on 5 ?
Other than that I can only assume that you have more timing advance on the higher levels so the combustion is more complete.
Do you have smoke at part throttle on a high setting of the box while at boost? Then it could be that you have some injector dribble that will be cleared up under full fueling and full boost.

Just guessing based on the little information given..
AlpineRAM
