Intercooler Directional?

Hello, First I want to say you guys rock. Here is my problem, I had a 1997 Dodge 2500 4wd cummins diesel. I am a body man by trade , I used this chassis and the whole wireing and put this in and under a 1960 B Model Mack. The frame was shortend and I used a custom built dodge stepside bed. This was put together to tow my 38 ft fifth wheel trailer. The engine had a Banks power pack kit put on when it was a dodge ram, it ran great. When I built the mack I had to get the intercooler to fit the truck. I couldnt put it where it was in the dodge, so I put it down under the front rad support, I built a air scoop so it could pull air through it, the issue Im asking about is I had to turn the cooler 180 degrees so that my pipes would line up.So now the original in on the cooler is the out to the intake. Are these directional, I seem to have a low boost problem and no power till 1400rpm, then it takes off like a rocket.Boost shows nothing until it starts to take off I checked my plate and the afc and it has note moved. Any ideas? I added a pic I dont know if you can see it I will try to post more.

Shouldn't matter wich way the intercooler is, I would check for boost leaks in your intercooler piping. Thats a nice rig you built there by the way!

Don't think the cooler is the problem.
Have you turned the top of the starwheel towards the engine?
Very important, make sure the AFC cover is pushed all the way forward.
You can read about those things here> http://dieseldatabase.com/turning-up...00-pump/?id=58

Wow! That is exactly what I said I would do if I eve hit the lottery. My grandfather ran Macks in his logging days and we looked forward to our summer trips to his house so we could climb all over them. I would do a 62 though, as that's the year I was born. An air starter on it would be soo coool.
