So is there any reason my inter-cooler clamps keep coming loose this is the second time in about 4 months the passenger side ones were loose the top and lower?

 

Tighten them down & then double nut them....they won't do it again.

 

Thats a good idear never thought about that before I did the boost elbow I could barely notice the small leaks that happens when the come loose now that I have a tad more boost its more evident and rather annoying LOL

 

I made a homemade boost leak detector out of a 4" rubber fernco, 4" schedule 40 clean out cap [threaded style]....just drilled a hole in the rubber cap to accept a 3/8" air fitting. I tighten the fernco down on my turbo & the cap on the other side. I set my regulator at 7-10psi & hook the hose on....works very well.
