After installing Jammer III nozzles, I figured adding some timing to them would wake them up. I ordered a Diablo Powerpuck from Ebay, and installed it today. The install of the powerpuck takes 5 minutes. Its that easy. Now the truck kills the clutch anywhere above 1800 rpm. No problem, clutch coming. The nice thing about this combo is the truck (empty) never gets above 1100* (31-32 psi boost), thanks to the BD boost fooler/elbow I already had installed.

I think I made some real impressive horsepower mods for under $400 (nozzles and powerpuck, both new).

I'm happy, my clutch is angry.

I like the Jammers very much. With only the Jammer III's installed, the power increase was impressive, with no noticeable smoke.

The only problem with the Jammers, like many on this site warned, is when the engine is hot, the idle is a bit rough (tach fluctuates 25-50 RPM).

Adding some timing, like the powerpuck (which is just like an Edge EZ or Van Aaken R) REALLY wakes up the Jammers. Too much for a stock clutch or TC.

 

does your powerpuck seem to make the throttle hang a little after you let off the accelerator. mine will hang for about a second. makes it a pain in the kister to drive.
