i have had jammer 5's in my truck for a couple of months now. all of a sudden it started idling real bad and blowing smoke while idling. seems to run ok minus the exhaust sounding kind of funny. there are no knocks or strange sounds coming from the engine. i had a cranckshaft position sensor code, i changed it out and it is still running the same. all my fluids seem to be ok. when i hit around 25 lbs of boost it makes a weird crackling noise out the exhaust. i though it wasnt getting enough air, but after checking everything, it seems to be ok. could an injector have jammed up or something?

 

i went out and messed with it some more. it runs like i have air in my fuel system. i cracked a couple of injector lines to maybe bleed them. with two injector lines loose it ran the same, when i got the third one loose it really started to run bad. i tried unhooking my tst and plugging the map sensor back into the stock location and i t didnt make a difference. anyone have any ideas or suggestions

 

The ones that do not make a difference are the ones that have an issue , if there not working then will not affect the running when your disable , loosen what ever .
Check for codes , fuel pressure test , fuel filter , maybe a bad batch of fuel , just some things to check , then tell results for for more help .
