Start out with you need a plan , where are you going with you mods ? [ how much HP & what uses ] .
There are no stupid ??? , the stupidest ? is the one not asked .
Do a lot of reading at these sites , to try to find someone doing what you may want .
Each mod should have the other mods in mind , so as to get them to blend together [ each part should be opperating in about the middle of its peak & relitive to each other ] .
Other wize you could try maybe 3-4 sets of injectors get close , then add something els & find that one of the other sets work better with the newer mod & on & on .

Ok well I bought the truck to tow my 4x4 toyota and to daily drive I don't plan on running a lot of power just wanna be able to get out of my own way. Ok and as for future mods I was thinking about a 3k gsk and an intake thats about it besides the pump and injectors

Some 215 injectors would be good, Piers Diesel Has them for $500 the last time I checked maybe they can be found cheaper.

IIRC To run 370's with a 180 pump you have to upgrade the DV's, I have some 215's in the classifieds for sale...

370's are not all the huge. You could probbaly run them with the stock pump. However 215's are really nice running injectors. Depends on what your looking for. There are both 215's and 370's on the boards. the 215's are probbaly used the 370's at least the ones i have for sale are brand new but if you want used ones of them too keep an eye out they pop up now and again.

I take it your truck is an auto? A 10 plate with 215 injectors was enough to fry my torque converter hauling my slide in and pulling a boat. You may want to look into some tranny upgrades. A shift kit will give you a bit more holding power. Better yet would be a valve body if you don't want to replace the torque converter yet.

You mentioned the intake , were you thinking the filter or manifold ?
I made my own box & put in the new Amsoil Eaa airfilter , I would not waste money on either the manifold or one of the $400-500 airboxs , unless money does not matter & or you like the looks .

I used the plastic cardboard [ just like cardboard { 2 layers seperated by a latis }] .
I just happen to have some that was the same color blue as the air filter .
From everything I've read the intake manifolds do little to nothing , but now I am looking at the dual ram , might be a little better , but for the high price it isn't worth it .
The airfilter boxes [ $300-500 ] the biggest thing they do that I want is keep the hot air from turbo getting sucked into the intake , so making a heat shield of some kind will do that for a lot less .
I made the corners by putting small slits in the edge and then wire ties to hold together , now I am thing about doing over and using blue silly cone , to get a cleaner look .
Also you want to support the filter so it does not rub against the pletes .
