injector and intake recomendations?

My neighbor has a 97 12 valve auto with 352,000 miles on it and he said he thinks he needs some new injectors cuz his stockers are well used. He was askin me the other day what kind of injectors he should get and where a good place to get injectors would be. I told him to look around on line, and that i'm more familiar with 1st gen 12 valves than 2nd gen 12 valves. He said he wanted a good upgrade, but not wild injectors, and some for a pretty good price. what do you guys recommend? I'm not sure if he'll be gettin gauges or not, and he also wanted a better intake, what is a good intake for the money for these trucks? thanks guys.

For me I would suggest DDP.. I like them alot and they are reasonably priced. Intakes are hard to suggest as it is also an appeal thing to the owner as how they look vs price. I would suggest a ScottyII, but they are long gone out of production..

I hear alot of good things on Bosch RV275 injectors. I believe they put out somewhere between 40 - 60hp, are clean and efficient and most claim better fuel efficiency. They are used on the RV application with the 5.9 Cummins.

I would probably not go over 100hp for injectors as you will start to get smokey and will be pushing the turbo harder. JMHO

okay thanks guys, I'll tell him. I told him he might have to do a little modifyin to his fuel plate so he can get some more fuel to those new injectors! I'm not too familiar with the p pumps but i know that changing or grindin the fuel plate helps a ton! what else can you do for easy power?

his stock clutch/tranny wont last if he mods his fuel plate and gets injectors. and it will run hot if he gets injectors with a stock turbo. I wouldnt get bigger then 60hp injectors on a stock turbo. If you want to pay for an expensive marine injector with the wrong spray pattern, go ahead and get DDP, otherwise go get a set from someplace like coal train, FTE, or one of the other sponsors on CF.

RV's are only for 24v's. I'd say go with DDP or new era.
