HOW DO THE EGTS OF DIESEL DYNAMICS STAGE 3 INJECTORS COMPARE WITH THE EGTS OF MACH 4 AND MACH 5 INJECTORS

The mach 4 and mach 5 injectors will be much hotter. You'd expect this because they flow a lot more fuel and make more power.

DD3s= 100hp
M4s=150hp
M5s 180hp

The dd3s are HOT with a stock turbo. M4s or 5s with a stock turbo would be enough to melt the turbo

I'd bet you could approach or clear 2000 degrees with M5s on a stock turbo.

I AM RUNNING DD STAGE 3s WITH NO PROBLEMS AND SINCE THE EDMS HAVE LOWER EGTS FOR THE SAME POWER OUTPUT AS AN EXTRUDE HONED INJECTOR I FIGURED I COULD GO WITH A LARGER INJECTOR ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY ARE ON SALE UNTIL I GET ANOTHER TURBO

I CAN RUN WITH MY DD3s AND MY COMP ON 3X5 AND USUALLY NEVER WORRY ABOUT EGTS AND THAT COMBINATION WOULD ROUGHLY EQUAL THE POWER OUTPUT OF MACH 4s SO IF I RUN WITH OUT THE COMP ON AND MACH 4s I WOULD THINK EGTS WOULD BE ABOUT THE SAME WHAT DO YALL THINK

What turbo?

The Mach 4's will smoke less than the DD3's in normal daily driving. They will smoke more until you make about 15 PSI of boost and then will run very clean.

If you have a stock turbo, I suggest you take it easy until you get a larger one. There is enough fuel there to destroy the turbo on the first hard pull or really get hot enough to damage the engine slowly but surely.

I dont think you can make 150 HP with a stock turbo either. They really need a larger turbo. The rave reviews of the B-1 turbo and Mach 4's cant be overstated. The combination has great power and smoke control. The 40 works fine too.

If you have an ETH, I suggest a Mach 3.5 - 3.7 in any case. Even with larger turbo. There is simply not enough fuel in most cases in the ETH pump to make much more HP for the increased smoke and heat of the Mach 4 with the ETH. The ETH is done at about 500 HP. Twins can add some additional. The Mach 3.5, B-1 and Comp Box made 492 HP in terrible conditions on the dyno. Hot and Humid.
