Has anyone ever ran injectors without a box? Just wandering, cuz there is a guy in town who says he has injectors, but runs no box?!?!

 

I did and I got the p0234 overboost code and the truck would fall flat on its face once I hit 30 lbs or so. If you left the wastegate operational its possible.

 

You can, but you'll need a Anti-Defueling Device (ADD). This will prevent a code from being thrown and give ya some extra power.

im running with 150's now while my comp box is out at edge being checked over...man it dies badly at 30psi...esecially in the lower gears where it pulls hard and then its like BLAH and just dies off. i cant wait to have a boost fooling box back in the truck. and a new vp44 wouldnt hurt either since mine is dying
