I believe that the raptor is just a high flow pump and that the airdog is a pump along with water and air seperation and filtering.

the raptor is just a pump. no fuel-air separator. i believe that the airdog uses the raptor pump. the air dog is the whole fuel air separation system. i have just the standard raptor pump, the RP-150. It is definately a nice pump, fully adjustable. i have it set at 15psi at idle, and at WOT with the comp on 5x5 i can suck it down to about 10-11. this is with a vulcan 1/2" lines as well. its a stout pump for sure, and better warranty than the FASS high pressure pump.

I installed the FASS on my 02. I would do that again and eventually I will on my 98.

I liked the ease of the filters and the air separation helped it idle smoother. I was also running some "questionable" fuel so I was happy to have the two filters; one 10 micron and one 2 micron if I remember correctly.
