I am installing a 3k GSK on my 12valve. I got one side of the GSK in fine and got it tightened back down, but on the other side I removed the nut and the edit retainer ring is stuck on the post. I have tried magenets, screwdrivers, and bent baling wire to try to pull the ring off, but cannot get it. There is not much room to work down in there and I have wasted a whole afternoon trying to get that retainer off. If anyone has any Ideas or sugestions pleas reply and let me know what you did.

I'd say call PDR. They are great people.

 

The only way I can think of to get the retainer ring stuck on the post is if the springs and post are not concentric. This could happen if the post is bent. Try to pry the springs toward the post all around until you find a position where the retainer is loose. If this works you better investigate why the post is bent, and how to get it back straight.
