I emailed tech at Edge and Quad but thought I could get an answer tonight since they're both closed.
I have a 2001 with an Edge Juice w/ Attitude that I bought while deployed.Hooked it up last weekend and was highly impressed with it,except for only being able to hit 23 psi of post which is what the stock psi is.
Does the Edge has a built in boost fooler? Looking through the install and owners book,it doesnt state so or I just have been skipping over it.
I was under the impression that it didnt,so I ordered a Quadzilla boost fooler.
I got it today and slammed it in and took it for some hot laps.
The first go round with hooking it up with the Edge I could only boost to 18.I swapped the plugs bewteen the Edge and the Quad around and got it to back to the stock boost of 23psi.So either the Edge is counter acting the Quad fooler or you cant use them in conjunction with each other is what I am thinking.
I searched threads for the last hour hoping to find an answer but I didnt come across what I was looking for.
So does any one know if the two products are compatible,and if the Edge Juice w/ Attitude has a built in Boost Fooler.
If it does how can I get it to boost past 23? I did set the max to 45 in the menu option for "Juice Configuration"

Did you instal the boost elbow? The edge has boost fooling

 

On the auto you cant install the boost elbow per the instructions.
The more I read and search it appears regardless if the Edge has boost fooling the stock wastegate opens at 18-23psi so will need to j-hook it to increase the boost past 23.
so basicly I wasted 65 bucks on the quad boost fooler it seems.
One more thing to post up for sale along with a pillar pod full of ISSPRO gauges I reckon.

You can lock wire the wategate shut, but with the HY turbo, its only good for 30 or so and after that its way beyond its effeciency. edge has boost fooling.
get rid of the HY turbo, get a HX for cheap (100-200$) will be an upgrade from the HY, on mine there was a serious drop in EGT.

 

A turbo upgrade was in the plans,looks like I'll start cruising some classifieds.
