I'm shocked your egt's aren't getting past 1400. My guesses at this point (not that anyone cares what i think) are:
1 - Your egt gauge is wrong, or
2 - Your injectors aren't near as "big" as mach 7's.

Not trying to be rude, but i'm pretty certain those sticks wouldn't push a 24v into the 11's on fuel only... and mach 7's are the only ones that have so far, atleast to my knowledge.

 

guess i better buy a new turbo, some mach 7's and a pyrometer now!

what were your HP numbers when you ran 11.76?

You don't have to buy anything! If your happy with the way your truck runs, that's the ONLY thing that matters. Your dollars, your happiness.

I have no idea, maybe your silverbullet is a much better charger then the prostreet 66. Maybe your pyrometer is bad. Maybe your injectors are smaller. Maybe it's something else. Maybe brett has too much injector for a single 66 charger (8's make less power then 7's without the bottle, so maybe 6's are better then 7's with a 66) It could be any number of variables. If your happy with your truck, that's what matters. I just don't understand why your on a quest to talk bad about f1 injectors when you haven't ever ran them before. I haven't seen anyone say one bad thing about your injectors, so i'm kinda scratchin my head over here as to what all this is about.

So you up for that rolling race this weekend??? If nothing else it would give us something else to argue about... (ALL in good fun).

As for my old truck, I dynoed a not so impressive 611hp/1200+tq the only time i had it on the rollers. But it would put 2-3mph and 3-4tenths on other 24v trucks that dynoed higher (on the same day) and weighed less (on the same day). Go figure...

I am glad you got it going GB. Sounds like its running sweet. And really really it doesnt matter which injector you have as long as it works. Power can be made on both.

I checked your profile mr born in '84 I could say I've been gaming and learning code since the vic 20 was out but that wouldn't mean anything to you either

I'm waiting to see what a bunch of non power adding bombs do for me. Since spring fling last year I've added an afe stage 1, fluidamper, cam, springs, and f-1 fuel all of which *may* help with power, but the tst comp is on there too

 

as long as i make more than 500/1021 ill be happy, i hate losing power tho
