[move]HOORAY!!!!![/move]

So do you notice the noise from the hole? I don't even notice it anymore unless I think about how cool the turbo sounds and then I listen for it. I have had other people in the truck and asked them straight out of they "noticed any difference", and was told "No". I did not ask if they thought it was louder. They did say they could hear it after I pointed it out.

I finally pierced the wire and cut the hole today.

All I can say is...

Fuel pressures average about 15 going down the road. 21 idle. Comp on level 5 is about 5 psi WOT. Average about 10-15 depending on how hard I hit it.

The ATS tranny was great, but I did end up burning some brakes, and losing some rubber too. ;D
[/quote]

Well- it's about time :P
Are you still running a stock fuel system?
I ask because 21 psi at idle is insane if it's stock....
Now Rod and Scotty will have to dig a bit deeper to pick on ya ;D

Way to go Jack- ;D

any chance I could borrow your holesaw :-*

The Dakota gauges or awesome. Very quick reacting and very accurate. They are also extremely easy to hook up. You can set high and low warning limits and you can also have them automatically dim when you turn the headlights on. The instructions are just a tad bit vague, but the customer service is second to Rod only. I had trouble with mine for two months. For some reason, the senders kept blowing. They replaced my FP sender twice and my boost once without any question or comment. They also tried to help me diagnose why they were blowing. Turns out it was cause I was hooking them up wrong (hooked ground up before the power ). I would highly recommend them. They are a bit expensive (I've got over $400 in my current setup). But it is well worth it. They look absolutely awesome. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Here's the link for the FP gauge. They also come with a chrome bezel instead of black.

Hey Jack, when can I get a thrill ride? ;D

Now that my lab is just down the road from your office maybe we can do lunch or something. I keep telling my wife the truck needs more power - maybe a ride in yours will convince her

I really want to hear what a opened up firewall hole does for in-cab noise levels. ALRIGHT you two,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Rod and Ed,,,,,,, you two should be ashamed of yourselves! How dare ya'll accuse Jack of misleading all of us. Give the man a break for Pete's sake. He should not have to prove with pictures, that he has done everything he stated in his post. : I bet Jack would be hurt to think that two of his friends do not believe him.

Pssst,,,,,,,,,, Jack,,,,, send me a PM when you decide to cut the hole and pierce the wire, I'll give you a hand. I also have a buddy up here in VA that has a green truck like yours with a Scotty II if ya need any pictures till then.
