Those pesky output shafts. Opie has that fixed up with his unbreakable billet replacements. Sorry to hear about the breakage. Pretty dern typical at 25 PSI though. LOL Sounds like someone had fun. I spent the weekend planting in the spring flower beds.

FYI-- there's no so thing as a "Viper truck". There is the Ram SRT-10, and there is the Viper SRT-10.

Just so no one's confused, John smoked the Ram SRT-10, NOT a Viper (which would be a little tougher).

How would you confuse "Viper Truck" with the car?

He said truck or pickup in reference to the SRT-10 four (4) times, and implied it was a truck group twice

So, I guess he raced a truck? A truck truck here, a truck truck there, here a truck, there a truck, everywhere a truck.

I bow out. I guess I'm weird in that I read the TITLE and then have certain things in mind when I click on the post. Yes, the post made it clear, but the title did not.

You guys have to help out those of us with handicapped higher cerebral functions. Once I breathe and keep my heart pumping, I'm almost (note: almost) out of brain power

HOHN:

I see your point, I guess I should have worded the title of the thread;
"I Beat a 2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Ram Truck." Sorry about that!
I know I can't beat the Viper SRT-10 CAR with my truck in it's current state
of modification. However, we all know there ARE some Dodge CTD
TRUCKS that could probably do it!

Anyway, "I Beat a 2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Ram Pickup TRUCK!"
It still feels pretty good!

John, thanks for being patient with me.

It's a HECK of an accomplishment. Especially when you consider the weight difference and how fast the V-10 revs compared to a CTD.

If I beat a Viper anything I would be too excited to remember if it was a truck or a car! I would go around telling everyone I beat a Viper, nana! nana! nana!

No problem at all buddy! Believe me, I have "lapses" myself sometimes and
obviously I did on the title of the thread! They caught it over on DTW
too, and the one who caught it there is a Viper CAR owner!!!! I don't think
he appreciated my "lapse in attention" too much!! LOL!! BUT, I wanted to tell
him that we have Dodge CTD Pickups in the "good ole U.S.of A" that COULD beat
his Viper CAR but I was nice and didn't do it! I will be honest with you and every-
body here though, I really thought the guy would be alot closer than he was
HOHN! I have heard for years (since I was a teenager and racing 60's muscle
cars) that drag races are "won at the lights" and that really does seem to be
true. Heck, I watch those Top Fuel Dragsters on ESPN and the Speed Channel
and it definitely seems to even apply to them. So many of them start spinning
immediately and at that point it's over for them!

OK, I went in and edited the thread title so everyone will be happy. Is that OK with everyone now?
