I remember living with my HY-35 when I had EZ and DD2 injectors (80 hp, I think). No egt or smoke problems but the turbo would over spool at WOT.... if I remember correctly, could hit 40 psi.
An HX-35 would be relatively cheap and should not exceed the 35-38 psi recommended as max for that turbo.
If no plans for more power... should be just right!
There is a 35 Hybrid and a regular HX-35 that sound like good buys ..... in the Classified Section!

If your 4" exhaust fits your HY-35, it will fit stock HX-35 turbines also, unless modified: you need to ask sellers.
Max Air (lowest EGT's) would be from the 35/40 hybrid. Dodgezillas are supporting several 400 hp trucks I know. All things equal, this would be my choice. More room to grow.
On the other 35's you need to find out the trubine housing size. You will want a 12 cm2 housing for your automatic, unless adding more in near future. A lot of HX-35's have 14 cm2 housings and will have more lag on lower hp trucks.
