The exhaust housing is probably too big to spool unless you use a hybrid exhaust housing. However, I'm not a turbo expert so I really don't know.

What class do you want to enter, and how much fuel are you pushing?

From what ive read about hx55's and similar turbos, youll have to be pushing fuel by the gallon to turn that thing over, but if you can push that much, try it out

 

what about a steroid b1 from peirs i think their suppose to handle a bunch of boost, but they say they aren't for street use. has anyone ever used one of these? i never hear anyone talk about the b1 steroid.

 

I have heard good things about it for pulling, but i have never herad where it is used for street use. Steroid B-1 is for use on a high end engine, and the use of such an engine on the street may cause you to have less traction than a duck on ice....
