One gauge pod applications....
Finally, my wife has "allowed" me to purchase one gauge for her 04 truck. We, er...she, has decided on the Westach dual boost/EGT gauge in the A-pillar. My question is this...which do you think I should get for the pod
1) the SRT-10 full replacement w/ handle
2) the one gauge pod that attachs right below the handle
Remember, I am all about convenience. I've seen pics with both and they both look good.
While I'm rambling, another question. Where is the easiest place to put the EGT thermocouple? I'm aware of the earth moving arguments over pre and post turbo and I'm really not too concerned with either. If there's one that is easier than the other, hell, I can subtract a few degrees and know when not to push it anymore!

I used the SRT-10 pillar. It looks great and is of course a perfect match. I put my pyro thermocouple post turbo in the cast elbow. I popped the elbow out of the truck and drilled and tapped it on the bench. Easy job.
