I have seen them in pictures on a second gen. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I need some rubber. I got a buddy with the chrome H2 wheels with near new 17" 315 BFG's on it. My truck is stock height, but after reading the threads about 315's it seems mixed. Some say they rub, some say they rock!! Which is it??

 

it depends on the back spacing on the wheels. i dont know about the H2 wheels, however for aftermarket wheels certain backspacing will rub and some wont.

i have 16.5 35's on my truck will rub on the back of the fender well, usually when turning into an inclined drive way.

btw, that is with a 5" lift on the truck.

 

i have the hummer wheels on mine with 315 70 r17 tires aand they dont rub at all however i do have a leveling kit. the leveling kit is worth every penny.

 

I have hummer rims and 315 70r17 BFG AT's with no lift on my 98 and I have yet to have them rub in daily driving. Have not taken it off road yet so i dont know there.

 

I also have the leveling kit and mine dont rub at all.
