I installed an HTB2 and moved my pyro to the manifold, and I can hammer 1500* on level 5. Do I need a bigger turbo or what? The turbo responds quickly to the throttle, but I still have to drive by the guages. Wastegate is set at 40lbs.

 

Try upping the boost a little more maybe.

 

Where is the stopping point for boost on a non-oringed 24valve? Other than the temp spikes this turbo is awsome. 60mph to 100 is in the blink of an eye.

 

50psi is considered the limit on the stock head gasket.

 

Try the larger exhaust housing they offer. The 12cm housing is just too small for a bombed truck. Spoolup is great but egt's are a problem with this turbo.
