Hello, I have a 94 cummins with a #5 fuel plate. Different spring to go 3000 rpm. It was an auto originally but the previous owner converted to a 5-sp. The previous owner said it had around 250 horses. Is that about right? If it has 250 hp then how much torque would it have? Thanks, I am new to the cummins.

 

My truck is also a '94. I have 720 pounds of torque.

 

Depending where you have the plate, you should be close to 250 with a #5 in a 160 pump. I would bet you're closer to 650 torque with the stock injectors.

 

Thanks for the info everyone. Yes, it has the original stock injectors. Also a K-N filter straight pipe and pyro-boost gauges. It only has 104,000 miles, the 5-sp has been gone through and has 20.000 miles since rebuild.
