I know - I just wouldn't consider 170 psi to be "well over 100" - I'd consider it "way, way, way over 100" haha .

I know several tested pumps came in at 686cc then with DV's and tops just over 800cc's. Stock size testing lines, orifices etc.
Lines, injectors, tubes(for a 24V) can flow more.
All done on the same bench at the same time.

So, do you all agree that I could make 450+ hp with my setup if I added 191 delivery valves, 370 injectors and a HTB2 or B-1 type turbo.

I think it'll take a little more than that.....I don't think I'm all that close to 450 with my set up, and I have the 180 pump and 181 DV's. Haven't dyno'ed yet, but conservative estimates put mine at 400-425HP. I think it might be a little less, but we'll see how it does on the rollers.

I'm looking at buying a nice big charger for pulling only and will surely see how much HP I am makeing with my setup. If I'm not over 400hp my pump is going bye bye.

When you start talking corrected numbers for high altitude your talking about something totally different.............NO ONE has been close to 800 on #2 only UNCORRECTED..........or no one knows about it!

Now for the Stoopid pump here are some numbers to crunch.....valet fuel is 325 cc's....power is 565, full fuel mode is over 700cc's and the power is 725 as listed above for #2, the game continues.

Jim
How about 878hp@ 2400rpm's 109lbs of boost and no correction factor. I guess we will see what happens when I can make a full run on the dyno.

NO, like i mentioned before, with almost the same set-up and a ZERO plate with 4k gov springs i barely saw 400...you need at least a 180 pump to see 450 on #2 only...sorry to say, but the 94-95's just don't flow the fuel

Thanks y'all for your input.
you'll be alright w/ the stock turbo, just gotta watch the pyro... a bigger turbine housing should make the truck livable for the most part...

I ran a #6 full forward and 370's on a stock turbo w/ a 215 pump. It could get pretty hot in a hurry, but w/ a 160 pump, you'll probably be alright.

heck, it gets hotter now w/ the bigger turbo after I ground the plate than it did then, I just let the needle swing higher than I used to!

I've got to add Jeff Garmon into this list of P Pump guys. Jeff knows this pump and the rest of the motor to boot.

With enough air, you can get 500 with a 160 pump. Mark, one of Jeff's customers, has a 94 with a set of twins that make a total of 50 - 55 psi and it makes 541hp. It also runs mid 12's at 107 - 108 mph.

Jeff does not mail stuff out. He just runs his shop in Georgia and turns out some fast trucks. Rick Wallace made 710 uncorrected hp with a Garmon tuned 215 pump. (good air that day)

Possibly another alternative for ya if you feel like a trip to Georgia.

I like the 215 pump with a 11 plate for everyday. Drives nice. Smooth. Relatively low timing so the TQ is higher down low in the RPM band. Better mileage, etc. Sweet pump for sure. The best for daily driving!!

Crazy injection pumps are best left to the track. Even the pump we have been putting together with our own plungers and barrels we have made for us do not drive as well as the stock 215 pumps. Of course its enough fuel to make your head spin.
With a 140 HP gain over a stoopid pump...you know it pounds the fuel in!!! Not for the street.

Once I put this new engine in the truck......its getting a stock plunger and barrel 215 pump. Perhaps Ill put in a zero plate and call it good.

Don, I tend to agree with you. The amount of fuel these race pumps deliver it wicked. With enough air, these regular P-Pumps will make great power. Before my twins, I made 430 or so hp with my HX35 and a "wide open" 180 pump. Put a small set of twins on, took nearly half of my fuel away and made 455hp. Less fuel and less smoke and more power. Gotta love it.

Consider building or getting a #100 built Don. I wouldn't go to the #0 in a high fueling pump with your shower heads. The amount of low rpm fuel is just obscene. The EGT just screamed too early & rpm wouldn't cool it down. The #100s #10 on the low end limits the low end fuel ... still nasty though. If I could swap these faster, I'd test, but I think the acceleration picked up.

As a matter of fact, I know the rears break free easier now. Advancing the timing seemed to take the low end away & the #100 brought it back ... great ... & Michelins just took a big $ jump.

Now that there is funny, I don't care who you are. It blows my mind to think how fast my truck would be with your pump and smoke free injectors.

MADDOG,

I only build injectors for Dodge trucks Pumps too. They can tell what type of vehicle they are in and adjust their moods accordingly.
