Holley Blue

I was wondering if i were able to just run the holly blue pump on the frame by itself and remove the stock LP. WOuld it have enough pressure for this? I have the bully dog 1/2" fuel lines also.

That's what I've been doing for about a year. Good results so far.

You would be better to run it with the stock lift pump. With the comp on kill it would still pull your fuel pressure down. When I ran the blue as a stand alone, I was still able to pull it down to 7 psi from 15. With the stock pump back in the picture I run about 28 psi at idle and pull it down to about 18-19 psi WOT.

Should I run it from a constant key-on power scource? I tied into the stock LP harness and it doesn't turn on for a few seconds when the key is engaged every time. it does after it sits for awile but it won't do it if the key is switched on a second time without the engine starting. is this normal? or should it come on every time the key is turned on?

i ran mine straight from the battery with a relay set up, and the relay activation is from a key on power source. i used a micro toggle switch from the key on source just so i can turn it off if i have to have the key on and dont need the holley pump running.
