High HP Chips....
Im wondering why on the HIGH HP chips do they DO NOT USE WHILE TOWING ONLY USE FOR RACING. WHy do they say that?

If you use it while towing the egt's will get to high and you run the posibility of melting something. You're are putting your motor under a heavier load while towing than you are racing. please correct me if im wrong

Usually you'll tow longer than you'll race. If you are above the safe limit for combustion chamber temperature it will take time to saturate the material with heat. So, for security reasons you should do the quarter mile as fast as possible

Yep, a lot of racers will peg their egt gauges during a quarter mile run or sled pull, but this is only for a few seconds. (the faster the better!). Those boxes are adding more fuel at higher levels which will raise the exhaust gas temps. plus, a motor does more work when towing. It must move a heavier mass than when empty.
