I'm assuming you flashed your truck with it, now you are trying to flash someone else's?

1st thing, are you putting your truck back to stock software using the Smarty?

If you let the magic smoke out - there is probably nothing to do but get in touch with Bob Wagner and see if he can do anything to help you out.

have you contacted them through www.madselctronics.com their site... under contact... assistance@madselectronics.com

I would think that smoke is bad but they may be able to save something on it. madselctronics or Bob wagner in general do take some time to get a response.

Are you sure you have the right number? Bob is a busy guy with many customers. He will get back to you.

Yea I pmed him on cummins forum. He replied twice and never again. His title says bob wagoner (smarty guru) and I used the number that he has listed below. So like I said earlier I have no idea what to do from here!

If you had a tune in the truck when it was wrecked and did not put it back to stock, then the Smarty is still VIN locked to that truck. In this case, it will not work on a different truck.

West tn I'm not that stupid!!! I understand how chips and programmers work and if it was vin locked it would say it. I can't even get the smarty to load tht far as I said earlier all it will do is cycle through the ignition.
