HELP!!what is really needed??

I'm about to order a trans and i wanted to know if i need to get a billet intermediate shalf? I know i'm getting a input but what else? Also which is better a triple or single disc converter? The truck is a 01 3500 4wd which i hope to getting 575 to 650hp with twins out of this truck soon. I will be doing a good deal of towing with it and doing some racing and maybe a few sled pulls here and there. What do i need?

If you intend to race the truck at all you should go with billet input, intermediate and output. Boosted launches are a big killer.
It costs more to take everything apart to upgrade it later than it does to get it all done now.

I vote for the triple disk and billet everything. I've broke my last intermediate billet shaft. My current tranny is a stock and DTT typically uses the stock intermediate. I would at least go billet input and output. There is one shaft that no one has broke yet, but its pricey. I can remember who makes it, but its in my truck. You planning on drag racing? Running big air turbo(s)? If you are go with a hi stall converter. You truck will spool up the turbo faster. Mine stalls around the 2k mark. Of course the stall rpm's will vary depend on the truck set-up.
