OK heres what id do

Grind ur fuel plate flatt, loosen the AFC housing all the way, to get the low end, get a better air intake which u are doing with the scotty, and u should have a heck of a jump on him, launch with boost, and u should have him, this is hard without gauges and so forth and pretty risky as well... Is the rugrat ur racin stock? I have fun with a whole bunch down here, and win usually 8-9 times outta 10 when I race, but I aint stock.. If u were closer, i might lend ya my truck, my plates or somethin... Best of luck, that is all that i can think of in a short time, unless u can get someone to time ur rig as well...

But if you want my advice since we both have autos, you need to do something to your tranny if you want to have a standing chance, because once you go over a certain power level...you will have fun slipping, either that or like I saw earlier, be picking up parts to your transmission afterwards. His car makes what? 140 torque? My lug nuts take more torque than that ( love that saying) and a 1.4 liter...a bottle of mountain dew...either way...rice is rice and it must be told. So I do wish you luck.

$10 grand? I'd build the tranny, throw in a set of injectors, a new plate, and if you can swing it a new turbo and then go and eat his butt alive.

 

Yea for ten grand you can get a bulletproof tranny. Dont know how good mechanically or metal fab skilled you are but you could build a set of twins. and whatever else you wanted. O man i would be in hog heaven if i had 10K to spend on the truck.
