Caskets are too expensive.

No fancy-pantsy casket and embalming for me...

Bury me in a plain oak box, just as I die...

I wanna be cremated, and have a bonfire instead of a funeral.

Preferably as seperate events.

Can it be returned? Ya know use the casket for the "show" part then when everyone leaves, bust out the Hefty Bags.

If you wanted stories.....

My mom works for a company that makes laminating products, including memorial bookmarks, so they go to the National Funeral Directors Association Convention every year to market their products..... Most people are very ordinary, but there are some creepy people that work in the funeral business... Most specifically the body shippers.... I am sure that is more than what you wanted to know, so I will shut up now.....

2500CTD, I am glad you are not a funeral director....

Cool !

You can get a cardboard box for cremation. Thats what my relative wanted and thats what they got. Just turns to ashes anyways. Still pretty pricey for considering its a cardboard box.

Thats right mr diesel wanted to use up some of the coal dust in the town he lived in, but after having a few engines blow up in his face he gave up for a wile.

A friend of mine has his wife behind the seet in his f150. She droped dead in micky D's, he had her creamated and put her behind the seat to take her home and never took her out. She was found there about a week ago when his brother started sorting through his stuff, he died of braine cancer.

Cremation for me too. I've been to many a' $10,000 dollar funeral, It's a bit too much for me. Broil me up and cast me out over the slalom course on the River.
