So how exactly did you get your life threatened and grind that plate down to a 100 plate but I can tell you right no your not gonna do anything with a stock auto til lockup so you might as well forget the 1/4 mile race tell hil you wanna race from 60mph and up. Its what I always do.

 

boost, pyro, tranny gauges
grind your plate down
torque converter lockup switch
3k GSK
shift kit
torque converter
370 injectors
bumped timing
delivery valves
hybrid your turbo

you should get him with all that. What can he run through the 1/4 and we can help you out with what you need. I can beat all kinds of ricers with what i have. Just depends on how fast they are. When is this race, and why is it so important? The torque converter lockup switch will make you much faster with oyur stock torque converter if it will hold it.

Also, taking off fromt he line, dont leave with more than 10psi of boost, and launch in 4x4.

Yea thats a big if it will hold and with the setup that cumminsdriver just mentioned youll prolly have tranny parts all over the place when your done.

find a friends truck that has stuff in it, take the plates off, and tell your friend you traded your truck for a new or used one, depending on year.

just order a chip for it instead of all that other stuff. with a chip you could take him.
