Exclamation help with coil springs!?

I'm trying to get some Moog front end coil springs for my 01 truck. I went several places, can't find them online. The only thing I can find are ones for a 96 model. Will these still fit the 01 or not?? I'd also like to try and raise the front end about 2" Is there maybe a different spring to get? There's a lot of weight on the front end of this truck...all the time. I need really heavy duty springs. It's a ranch truck so I don't care how rough the ride is. Thanks!

I would think the springs are the same. You could always get a 2" spacer for them when you install or I think skyjacker makes a front coils that are about 2" taller.

Just get the 2" spacer for the front for under $100.

i suggest Skyjacker, 186bucks from Summit and 2" taller. on a 2001 truck your OE coil springs may be sagging due to the cummins weight!

Go with the new springs. 4 wheel auto parts have the skyjacker progressive springs. They are nice. I have a set of Kore. They work good, probably the same thing as the skyjacker.

Ok, I looked into the skyjackers on Summit's site, they didn't say whether or not they were 2" taller or not. If I do raise the front 2" is there anything I'd need to do for the sway bar or anything else? Thanks!

Ok, I got on truckspring.com, they have coil springs there that are rated for 3380#/ spring. The next one down I've seen is rated for about 2350#/spring. It is per spring, not per set. I might also get the spacers to go along with that.

What you planning on doing with the truck? You planning on hauling heavy loads or just want a lift and daily driver. I like the progressive of my kore springs, softer than stock and not as bouncey. You can use the stock sway bar. I'm using stock end links. I didn't use the drop kore blocks and end links. Push you're castor as far forward as you can go. This will stablise the truck on the road. Also put a slight toe in on both tires so you put pressure on the frontend. This way you reduce road wobblies. You might need a pitman drop arm. The passager arm coming off the pitman arm goes on a steeper angle. Some use the drop, some don't. I haven't tried it yet. I'm liking mine step-up for snow bank bashing. If you don't see grass you can drive there The 5100 series bilstein are pretty nice shock.

Well, I've got a big replacement bumper on it, it's a single cab, I've got a bale bed on the rear and it carries about 3700# of feed in a feeder right behing the cab against the headache rack on the bed, and a 1000# bale on the rear of the truck. So there's a lot on the truck and that feeder is pretty centrally located on the truck between the front and rear, so I know that adds to what's on the front already. I usually only have that feeder full and a bale on it hauling it around on the ranch feeding the cattle. I don't go down highways with it loaded....yet. When I get another place I may have to do that. I just would like the front stiffer....I don't care about it putting off a smooth ride. And a little more clearance would be good for on the ranch because it's not a 4wd. I don't need one, that's why I didn't get it but I'd still like a little more clearance...besides leveling it out.

check out the springs in my sig. they are from the 3 & 4th link in dr.evil's previous post. i love them - i tried the soft rides (same as skyjacker levelers) first but didn't like them all that much. switched to the hd's and do not regret it one bit. i have no added weight over sock on the front of the truck - and they ride much better than the stock springs.

the otto-max link the dr. posted is the same company as tuftruck - and that company provides the springs to the guys at the customsuspension link.
