hellbent steel

I'm about to order a 2 inch leveling kit. Is hellbent steel a good kit? opinions?

never heard of them, http://www.topguncustomz.com has a steel leveling kit for $86 if you want something to compare it to.

I got a set or Top Gun Customz for $70 out of Diesel Power mag and I think they are just as good as any. But I will make my next set, just was short on time.

I have a hell bent steel 2" leveling kit on my truck, treated me well for the last year or so. How hard is it to build a quality steel spacer?

As long as all the measurements were right and the welds were good it would be as good of quality as anything else in my opinion. All you would really have to do is grind the edges of the two lips smooth since a torch makes a rougher cut than what they use (probably an automatic plasma machine).

Dean, the Hellbent Spacers are nice. I have the TopGunzCustoms spacers, got them on Ebay for pretty cheap.

Either one, price is about the same. I have ordered stuff from TopGunz a few times and always had a good experience.

I will use a lathe to make sure everything is straight and smooth and wire feed it together. Just like making my drive shafts. Make sure to use good steel.
