Re:Heat Shield

A heat shield for a BHAF. I am not in any hurry just hope I can afford it. What kinda price are you looking at?

Also should I go with this kinda setup, a heat shield and a BHAF or a Scotty II?

Re:Heat Shield

Cumminsdude,
You can also make your own heatshield by using the downloadable pattern we have in the Tech Facts section.

I'm using the BHAF until I make some HP improvements and the I'll invest in the Scotty II. The BHAF did bring my EGT's down some when towing the 5er.

Re:Heat Shield

Yeah, I would love to make it, unfortunately I am not good with metal and such.

How much are Scotty II's? Who would I talk to about getting one?

Re:Heat Shield

Because I was trying to seal off as much underhood hot air as possible I chose to expand upon the design that RattlinRam posted. I don't know if it helps, but it looks cool.

Re:Heat Shield

Same here, I was going to make one but yours appears to be more effective. PM me with a price if you are gonna make some.
