headstuds question

Im looking at buying a set of used arp studs and am wondering is there any reason to buy new over used ? do they stretch and fatigue or any thing like that?

The problem with use ones is, you don't know how much the last guy pulled them down to. If they didn't over torque them, then their fine. If some one cranked them down way pass specs, then I would stay away from them. Poeple that have studs don't replace them every time they pull their head.
