he351ve install

well the hy35 just wasn't cutting anymore. decided to go with a holset he351ve. using Fleece Performances vgt controller to control the veins. also putting on a 4" downpipe, an ATS 3-piece manifold and magnaflow 30" muffler.

didn't like the 90deg coming off the turbo. so we changed it up a little. dont mind the ugly valve cover. it was taken off today(adjusted valves) and cleaned up.

I think that would be one hot 500hp, at least on a 12v like mine. Up to about what 'feels' like 325-350 RWHP on my truck, it cools awesome. Past that fueling level, I can bury the pyro and the drive pressure gauge with the vanes wide open in 3rd gear. It's still only a 60mm comp wheel after all.

i am getting a ve geared up for mine also.. so far i plugged the stock mounting holes and will be re drilling to the T3 flange soon.. then its just a matter of finding time to stick it on.. i am going to use a wastegate controller, drive pressure and an adjustable spring for the vanes..

Just to let everyone know, veins are things that blood flows through. Vanes are what we see in the pics at the top of this thread.

is anyone offering a complete kit too add these to our trucks yet? I can bolt stuff on, but not much of a fabricator.
