The owner of the Mustang Dyno in Emory, Tx has set his dyno up to match Dynojet numbers. I believe it's a very light load. I have seen his trucks #'s from his dyno, and watched him dyno on a Dynojet. He makes right at 730 hp (with his Duramax) on both, so I believe he knows how to set it up correctly.

I don't know what would be best for you, as I have no experience with Pop Off valves. As a general rule though, you can't have too much air....especially when you are overfueled on an HO.

I would disable them and check your TIP (drive pressure) at WOT to know if your studs are enough protection. But I believe they are.

Also, I think the arguement can be made that your already at max TIP because your pop offs are after the combustion fact. Have to think about that some more.... but if true, they really offer very little protection for the head???? Goes back to the discussion of what blows head gaskets... boost pressure or drive pressure. Which contributes more to increased cylinder pressures?? And does unburned fuel decrease drive pressures. I don't know?

Ya I probably need to run a temporary guage and see what kind of drive pressures I am seeing... I understand what your thinking is and honestly I don't know either...

The one thing I'd be worried about with turning the pop off valves up is over speeding the top turbo. How much boost is your bottom turbo makeing? It's not fun when turbos go POP.

I don't see how that's going to happen on a Wastegated HX-35, unless he blows a boot off at WOT?? If it does start, he will see it very quickly in his EGT gauge, as his wastegate hold open.
Don't believe Bnold has a gauge on his primary, but data I have collected says an S400 will push 30-32 psi at a total system pressure around 65 psi.

My S300 primary, with a big turbine housing, pushes 38 psi at 65 psi... within MAP efficiency and with no EGT concerns on the hwy at gross weight.... and drive pressures of 1:1.

You know I don't recall??? The stock manifold is divided until the 1/2-3/4 spacer which is open... Not too much flow can pass through there some can though???

Sorry, we got a little off the original topic!

Good Luck! Whatever the final numbers, remember, it's what it does on the street that really matters!
