Geno's Garage LP Relocation Kit
Geno's Garage LP Relocation Kit
Geno's sells the Vulcan LP relocation kit w/o the big line kit. It's priced at $69 instead of the $129 Vulcan charges for the whole thing. The tech rep at Geno's claimed that the stock fuel lines are sufficient for stock to moderate power upgrades, but supports relocating the LP for increased reliability and ease of replacement. Anyone have experience that supports or refutes that claim?

.......and ease of replacement.
I like that part.....
I would think that would be true. A fuel pressure gauge would needed to be run IMHO!!! A slightly modded truck (No taped wire) doesnt pull much (If any)more fuel. Also maybe upto 90 HP injectors.........I did a relocate kit...but i had to build it myself when i was working back in Gainesville.......worked ok....and it definatly was Eaiser to get too!
I saw this on Geno's. My vulcan kit was only eighty something off ebay, but I think Geno's is going to sell a lot of these kits.
I can support the claim that the stock lp location is a royal pita to get to

That's exactly what I'm betting on for my truck. After spending many nights reading this DTR site I have my Vulcan relocate kit from Eric sitting here ready to put on this weekend after I get all of my gauges from Dave at Dieselmanor. Going to Oklahoma, Minnisota and back to Washington in two weeks..pulling a loaded dual tandem flatbed coming back. Dondi

Yes, there is a 1 foot or so section of smaller diameter tubing back at and above my tank, but from there forward I am have much, much more fuel capacity in the lines themselves.

1/2" lines, IMO, do seem to work better with the stock lift pump.
