It's really nice to know what is going on with my fuel pressure. Stock LP and lines 14psi at idle and 9psi WOT.

It's pretty cool watching that Boost gauge. At this point I can't get boost above 21psi with Superchips on "Hi-performance". and a boost fooler. Tomorrow I'll hook to trailer and see what happens.

I agree on the gauges. Concerning the boost pressure, do you think the wastegate is opening too soon? Some folks use a turnbuckle to limit how far the wastegate is closed too make more boost pressure.

 

I have the adjustable elbow. I noticed that as soon as the boost gets to 21psi the trans shifts into the next gear and at lock-up it drops off.

 

Sounds like it wants more fuel don't it?

 

What kind of EGT are you seeing in the 3 different settings of the Superchip tuner?

 

That is what I am thinking. RV275 are on the list for mods. The truck is mainly being set up for towing. The RV 275 will have to wait. The B&W turnover ball is next.

 

I have only used the tow safe and hi proformance settings. I havn't noticed any difference in EGT's unloaded. I havn't towed since I installed the gauges.
