gauge pod question
Re:gauge pod question
I too had wished for a cover like this , however when received the cover and looked where gauge pods are and looked where clips go I think it would be impossible to make such a cover. Just my 2 cents
Re:gauge pod question
My guage Pod is attached to my cut up and heavily modified factory pillar cover with urethane adhesive. (like they use for Windshields) NO SCREWS!!! It looks great and you cannot tell the factory one is under it. If I need to remove it it just pops off as the factory clips are still there...
I had the 4x4 shop install it this way because I didn't want the screws exposed. They didn't argue and ended up liking it.

Re:gauge pod question
I found a factory a-pillar cover at a junkyard (I needed one without the speaker hole to put underneath) and used it under the new 3 pod pillar cover. Cut holes where I needed and mounted the 3 pod pillar cover to the factory cover with industrial velcro. Now I can use the factory clips for mounting and the velcro to get at the stuff in between. No screws exposed, etc and looks as good as OEM.
