Gauge Installtion issues/questions
Pyro Installation- I have a Danin thermocupler. The instrustions called for a 1/4" NPT standard tap, with 7/16" drill bit. This seems way to big. It would appear to be about 3/8 ". Does anyone have the correct specs for tap + drill required? Perhaps these instructions were for a differrent unit.
Boost- Instuctions indicate a 3/4" NPT plug on the block next to the fuel filter. Is this correct? They also idicate NAPA 3220x6x4 and C3109x12x6 for reduction fittings. Has anyone else used these?
A Pillar installation- Any words of wisdom here? Just remove the trim and they refer to spring clips which are removed with a flat balde screw driver?
I wish that DPP had inclueded everything needed for the installtion. My next trip for the tap will be the 3rd for parts needed for the installtion. All these little surprises extend the installtion time, waste time and are aggrevating. Perhaps this is SOP with these installations.
