gauge flutter and air leak? help

installed the boost and pyro and the boost was fluttering bad wouldn't go over 10 psi, found the kink and repaired it but i am not even getting 20lbs of boost and sounds like a big air leak under the hood near the turbo when driving and the gauge still flutters just not as bad, checked all my senders for tightness and used adheasive on threads for install, is the waste gate not working right? shoud i look elsewhere for a problem? , i am still running the stock exhaust

I think that your turbo has blown off one of the hoses- they tend to slip out from under the clamps. They will look almost good when there is no boost, and they will slip out in the most cramped to work, impossible to see and most dirty place. I usually use a mirror to be able to check the complete round.

looked for a loose or bad boot, nothing obvious, chance that a piece of metal from drillin the pyro hole is stuck in the waste gate?

The metal stuck in the WG is really not very probable. If you hear a whooshing sound this would be a hole on the compressed air side of the system. Did this start when you installed the gauges?

The IC boots are a PIA to check for leaks because they will only open the holes under pressure. If you search for boost leak finder on this site you will find some home made devices that can help you detecting the leaks.
