fuel system help

Ok I just installed my FP gauge ( fully mechanical with banjo and needle valve from Geno's ) I have a Edge comp with the wire tapped. @ idle my fuel pressure is at 12 -13 psi and at WOT its as low as 3-5 psi I installed a carter LP at the begining of last year (05) My question is can I install a "big fuel line /pump kit" and keep my LP or do I need a new pump as well?? Also what is " APPS "

thanks chris

ya the comp on full can suck a lot of fuel,3-5 psi is kinda low,i could see those numbers too until i got a holley blue installed along with the factory lp and i put in a regultor, now i see 17 at idle and 9 at wot on 5\5.im thinking about a big fuel line kit too,im sure you can use one with your lp,some one who knows more will help.cant remember what apps stands for but to reset it you disconect your batery for like 4 hours with the key on to drain all the juice, then turn the key to off and conect you batery and turn key to on but dont start and slowly push the go pedal to the floor then bring back up,resets the throttle positioning or somthing, helps with some dead spots in the throttle.

go to ebay/auto zone/any decent parts store and pick up a holley blue and forget about the big line kit. you dont need it. im running one with my mods and i cant pull it under 13. just stick it right by the fuel tank and forget about it. Works like a charm. jmo

Bought one at auto zone the other day for 96 bucks and one off of ebay in the past for 100 bucks plus shipping.

The cheaper route is the Vulcan kit:

im seriously thinking of running bigger fuel lines on my truck because the FASS 150gph fuel pump is 20 psi at idle and 7 at WOT..... actually thought about putting a carter pump between the FASS and the tank for a little pusher help..

when i ran with my stock pump i ran 17psi at idle and couldnt draw it under 12 i had a set off the scotty smart lines on it and just a stock lift pump. now i have a fass2 and i idle at 23psi and cant drag it under 19psi. i really like my fass but if you get one buy a extra set of brushes for the pump. that way if it ever goes goffy on you all you got to do is change the brushes.

keep the stock pump. it works, gives positive pressure and will help the overall system.

Remove the FF so you can get to the lift pump. Get your arm extentions ready Keep something around to catch the spilt fuel. I think there's a walkthrough for lp replacement on Dodgeram.org, but can't find it at the moment =\
