I need to upgrade my fuel system. I was looking at the FASS fuel pump by its self, and the FASS with the seperator. I was aslo lookin at the VP44. Which one would be better to build a 12 sec truck?

 

well first your truck all ready has a vp44,AKA injection pump, it pressurizes the fuel and takes care of timing and other things related. There is not much else you can do it other than replace it with a HRVP.If your vp is not giving you any troubles i would see a reason to replace it. The part of the fuel system that you can upgrade is the lift pump and fuel lines. Everybody usaully has good opinions on the FASS system but you can also do some looking around and see what other vendors have to offer.

the fass with just the pump only mine was 350. I have a buddy that had just the pump then switch to the one with the water seperator and he said it was a waste of money he could not tell a difference at all. So I would go with just the pump. I love mine never had a problem with it.

 

I'm also looking at buying a system soon. I can't decide between the Fass II or the Glacier Diesel walbro kit. How comparable are they?
