Kool thing about the needle valve too is if you ever find the line going from it to the inside of the cab has cracked, you can turn the valve off and stop the leak, where as the snubber is open all the time....just a quick thought thats all.

Yes the valve would be a better idea, but I didn't have one that day I installed. The gauge I have has a snubber built in to it to help with the pulses.

Put a needle valve between the VP and the snubber. Leave the needle valve open. In case of a leak, you can close the valve.
