Front shocks

What is the trick to getting the bottom bolt out of the front shocks? The top don't look too bad, but the bottom looks a booger!

Uh, bottom bolt was easy.... take nut off first, then slide bolt out with large tool to help if needed. On mine, left front was a bugger, not enough room to get shock out thruough the top. Ended up cutting that shock in two, came right out then. Slide new shock in first, then rebolt shock tower down, then cut tie holding shock compressed.

Good luck..

The shock tower is the bracket that hold the top of the shock?

When looking at the bottom bolt, it looks like you can get a socket on the front side, but the back side looks a little tough.

Backside had a little "arm" attached to the nut that sticks out to keep the nut from turning. At least mine does.....
