Front finders/ or what are they called.

while test driving a 2003 3500 I found I couldn't see where the front of the truck really was.
:P My new 2003 3500 4x4 will be here soon and I would like to know where to get a set of fender finders/guides. The crome post with the amber lites on top. I back a trailer of some kind {boat, equipment tri axel, boat and travel trailer} a lot so I want to be able to tell where the front of the truck is.
Thanks
;D Al

I've got eight right now. You can go to www.yesterdaystractors.com and do a search under Joel Williams in the Tractor Photos section to see all of mine.

Did you check out the A&W Direct site? They have pretty much everything you can think of for towing or hauling.

Reckon I have been lucky all theese years - ain't ripped a bumper off yet. Spent more time backing up tobacco trailers to the bulk barns than going forward in my pre-driver's license days. All of that practice has come in handy over the years.

Does the new body style have that much of a front bulge to keep you from seeing the corners?

I know I had to get used to the 96 after about 250K miles in 78 and 82 Dodge pickups.

Oh ya the front just drops off on the 2003 model 2500 & 3500. You see the leaf screen cover over the wiper transmission and about 6" to 8" of hood and thats it.
I've never had much of a problem backing up anything either before. Lots of pratiace with a cab over Pete (400 big cam cummins) and 45' trailer in a past life.
Going to check the AW site right now.
;D Al

The catalouge has them, they send me one about every month since I buy a good bit from them. If you don't find them, let me know. I will look it up and send you the part number.

Find you a good lookin brush guard. Looks better, protects the truck, and you can tell where the front is. ;D
