Front Control Arm Bushings Energy?

I am in need of new control arm bushings for my 99, I wanted to get the Energy Polygraphite bushing set, but saw a post on here that someone ordered the 5.3132 kit which says fits 99-02 but when he got them instructions says it fits 00-02, and they would not fit his truck, bolt sleeves were too large I.D. Can anyone clarify this? The 5.3120 says it fits 94-98 trucks, I know in 94-99 4x4 2500's had the Dana 60 in the front, and in 2000 they switched to American Axle, so the numbers done make sense either, if the larger bolt holes were on the american axles from 00-02, any help please?

Yes, if you can, find a m14 size metric bolt and make sure it fits good into the larger metal sleeves that came with the kit, the stock bolt size on the lower control arms of the 99 and prior are m14, Im not sure what sizes the new ones are, I do know that they switched to the American Axle on our trucks in 2000, which is when I believe they also changed the bolt sizes, makes sense for the bolt size to change when the axles changed.

I literally just got back from our shop trying to install new control arm bushings im my 99, and the metal sleeves were too big, just Like Smokinrams so Im seriously ****** right now, these were prothane brand, says they fit Dodge Ram Trucks 2500, 4X4, 94-01 V10/Diesel, and they are not right, Im gonna return them and buy the 94-98 Energy bushings, anf if they dont fit, in gonna say to h--- with it and buy new control arms.

Honestly... for the 240 bucks and no headaches except maybe having to get new bolts if your are rusted and break.... Top Gun Customs control arms with Skyjacker greasable bushings ... is the way to go... I think...

I actually think your right, i was confused on the front end setup as the ball joint type and style as well as some of the types of steering linkages changed in 00 , but still used the dana axle. But I do think it was in 00 the larger control arm bolts were used, i looked under my boss' 01 and the bolts were significantly larger than mine, I ordered the 94-98 control arm bushings from Energy even tho I have a 99, the 99-02 will not work on my 99, its a misprint on the site, they should change it.

The front bolts are larger starting on 2000 year trucks.
