Layne, of DOR, used to have a website, but it vanished some time ago.

Only way I know to contact him is give him a call.

He's pretty good about dropping what he's doing and answering the phone.
(be prepared for a chat, as he likes to talk )

970-858-4010 or 970-270-6655.

I think the first number is the garage where he makes them, 2nd number is his cell phone.

He does runs of a particular bumper, so if you get him at the beginning of a 2nd Gen Dodge run, you won't have much of a wait.
However, if you get him in the middle of a 3rd Gen Dodge, or Ford run, you might have a bit of a wait till he starts a 2nd gen run.

THANKS a million PHOX. I meant to tell you, that is one fine ride you have. it is so clean I wondered if it had ever left your driveway!!! LOL!!! I am debating about custom building me a square tube over tube bumper that will handle the bushes & such things as running over super doodies. I figured I could go back & add some diamond plating to brighten it up. What did that DOR cost?? Thanks again.

DODGE4X4, I'll take you up on the offer of bumper plans. Let me know how we need to make it happen.

Thanks for the generous offer.

I think the bumpers from Denver Off Road are around $1500....One of my buddies got one for that price a couple years ago....When I talked to Lane he said he had about 1000 of the bumpers out on trucks and only had one problem with them...I guess some guy up in the mountains of Colorado had a snow plow on the front of his truck and got stuck...He had a winch but the only place to winch to was at a 90 degree angle so once the truck was pulled out he had bent the mounts for the bumper but didn't hurt th frame or the bumper.....Very tough and light....Sure do wish I could get one..

Tell the truth, it hasn't been that clean since I took that picture.
I also have some nice racing stripes down both sides, courtesy of a jeep trail I thought I could fit down.

When I got mine, they were going for $1550, this was just over a year ago.
Wouldn't be surprised if they were upwards of $1600 by now.

He used to do my model in either powdercoat black, or clear coat bare aluminum
(Commatoze got one of those, pretty sure he has pics in his album),
but I think he'll only do them in powdercoat black now.
The work involved to get the bare aluminum to look good wasn't worth it I guess.
You might be able to talk him into a different color powdercoat, for a few extra dead presidents though.

For the kind of money you guys are talking about, I think I will get me a 16 inch piece of channel iron about a 1/4 thickness. I will cut it & bend it at appropriate angles, cap the ends, cut holes for the fog lights, build a brush/grill guard & have it RHINO LINED, PROBABLY FOR WELL LESS THAN 500 BUCKS. I don't need a winch, I don't want to pull anyone else out & there are plenty of DEERES around where I usually get stuck. COME ON!. PHOX racing stripes are nice when earned the hard way. LOL!!!

On my UTE you can see there are two square air holes plus the unused winch fairlead hole. I tow heavy with my truck & have had no temp. problems.

If I had both the tools and the talent, I might have done that.

Even then, it probably wouldn't turn out as nice as the ones mentioned here.
They have trialed and errored until they got everything just right.

Too bad my stripes aren't in any way symetrical
