Read these, they will help you ask the right questions, and use the SEARCH button, that is the best I can do Cause I am a 12valve newbie myself.

the Free part depends on whether or not u know what your doing but ur first step either way is to buy a set of gauges. If you only buy 2 gauges they should be boost and egt (exhaust gas temperature). the egt gauge will basically tell you whether or not your going to hurt the motor. As for the making power part one of the easyiest things to do is to get a fuel plate. Fuel plates come in different profiles (they are numbered) and each profile is ment to fuel at a different rate therefore some make more power then others. An exhaust system would also be something to look at inorder to keep the egts down.

first step is to change the fuel plate.. and add a boost elbow. Depending on who you buy the plate from the boost elbow may or may not come with it.. I chose to go to TST because the boost elbow came with it so i can better take advantage of the extra amount of fuel

Boost elbow? Just plug it and let her scream. That'll get you a reason to buy a bigger charger sooner.

yes u can grind it down but if you dont know which profile you want to go with or what that profile looks like ur kind of in the dark.. if u buy a new one you basically know what ur hp n torqur range ur going to be in and like i said some manufacturers send the elbows wiht the fuel plates at no charge like TST so u wont find just the elbow itself
