Floor Mats slowing Me Down - Ha Ha !

Some mechanic I am ! I took mine in a Diesel Shop to bump the timing to 16* and to get my valves adjusted. He said also my frayed throttle cable was holding back my pump (I knew that, I was going to have Mr Chrysler pay for that on a recall ) But here's the funny thing, he said my Husky floor mats were keeping me from getting full throttle too ! $358.59 for the timing / valves and throttle cable, finding out I'm stupid...priceless !

I hate floor mats, won't use them. If you've ever driven a 5.0 Mustang 5spd with floor mats you probably understand why.

I've thought about that actually. I think I'm going to trim mine around the pedal and see if I notice a difference.

Wouldn't the TPS/APPS calibration fix that?
