This is my first post. What I'm looking for is a beginners set-up for my 01. A plug and play, I guess. Something simple that won't cause me to blow it up. I use this truck in my business, towing a 10,000 lb dump trailer occasionally. I already have a hotrod (54 Chevy PU) to really let loose when I feel the urge. I'll add the other stuff (guages, ect.) when I visit my daughter and heavy equipment mechanic son-in-law (making him do all the dirty work) as time permits. Thanks, JD.

 

I had a superchips tuner as my first upgrade and was very happy with it.Alot of people like the edge EZ box.

 

I got the lift pump fuel pressure gauge first and quick.

 

edge comp. u can run it untapped in ez mode and then when you want real power tap the wire.

 

What kind of power are we talking? And how easy are the set-ups? I use to do all this stuff myself, way back when. Now, as an old geezer, I try to do as little as possible.

 

I would recomend a BHAF and Exhaust to let the beast breath easier.
then get the Comp.
